Origin Story: Born between New York and Mumbai, Summer Away began from a love of travel, thoughtful design and a deep appreciation for Indian craftsmanship.

Having studied and worked in both Mumbai and New York, founder Meghna Goyal developed a global perspective on fashion, blending contemporary aesthetics with traditional artistry. After moving back to Mumbai from New York, she found herself packing for a getaway and realizing she had nothing she truly wanted to wear. That moment sparked the idea for Summer Away: versatile, stylish and “sustainable” vacation wear designed to fit effortlessly into every adventure.

More than aesthetics, the brand aims to not only help women feel confident wherever their travels take them, but also to honor the artisans and craftsmanship of India.
