Valley soccer coach Aziz Haffar has been coaching for nearly 40 years
The Iowa boys high school soccer season is winding down, which means it’s almost time to crown a state champion in all four of the state’s classes.
On Thursday, the field for the state tournament was set with 32 total teams still alive in the hunt for a title. But by the end of next week, only four will remain, having earned the state championship crown.
The tournament kicks off on Monday, June 2. The quarterfinal rounds will be played at regional host sites across the state. The semifinals and finals will take place at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines.
