Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium Black/Black HQ1977-001 Release Date

After releasing a premium multi-material Air Force 1 in white earlier this year, Nike is set to give one of the model’s most notorious looks a luxe upgrade.

New e-commerce product images have surfaced of a Nike Air Force 1 Low in triple black with a variety of textures and faux animal elements. Nearly every panel of the upcoming look dons a different material; there’s cracked leather across the toe and eyestay, a velvety quarter panel and tongue label, snakeskin at the heel counter and pony hair on the heel tab and Swoosh. The wild, safari-like combination is toned down thanks to the all-black colorway, which makes the shoe wearable despite the array of textures.

Over the last decade, the standard all-black leather Nike Air Force 1 has become an internet meme for its villainous aura. In May, alongside the viral Dirty Triple White Air Force 1 Low release, Nike launched a Triple Triple Black counterpart with an outer layer which, with wear, reveals an even more premium material underneath. In its marketing materials, Nike acknowledged the black Air Force 1’s reputation.

“Yeah, we’ve seen the memes. We know what you say about us. So we’re changing the conversation,” read the Triple Triple Black product description.

In March, Nike gave the all-white Air Force 1 a similar premium mixed-swatch treatment. That pair retailed for $130 and featured perforated leather, woven leather, patent leather and a rumpled leather reminiscent of elephant skin. Meanwhile, the viral Dirty Triple White Air Force 1 sparked a discussion over whether the pre-distressed sneaker trend has reached its peak.

In related news, the Air Force 1 is expected to receive a skateboarding upgrade from Nike SB in 2026.

This new Nike Air Force 1 Low Triple Black premium colorway is expected to be released during fall 2025. It has a style code of HQ1977-001 and its retail pricing has not yet been confirmed.
