Louis Vuitton has entered a multiyear partnership with Real Madrid. The luxury brand also unveiled its formal wear and formal travel wear collections for the men’s and women’s football teams, as well as for the men’s basketball team. Louis Vuitton will outfit all the club’s players and representatives for major travel. Net-a-Porter hires company veterans for new leadership team

Net-a-Porter named a new leadership team to work with CEO Heather Kaminetsky, including Claudia Plant, a cofounder of Net-a-Porter, who is returning as chief brand and customer officer. Brigitte Chartrand has been named chief buying and merchandising officer and will oversee all categories. Jeffrey Trosch has been named president of North America, and Chris Chan has been promoted to APAC region president. New owner LuxExperience said the team will “reenergize” Net-a-Porter’s “value proposition and brand appeal, and benefit from the efficiencies and resources of a bigger group in the back-of-house operations.” {WWD/paywalled}

L’Oréal launches global campaign for World Refill Day

L’Oréal launched its first-ever cross-divisional campaign in honor of World Refill Day on June 16. L’Oréal will be calling on consumers to #JoinTheRefillMovement across its brands including Lancôme, Armani Beauty, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, Kiehl’s, Mugler, Maison Margiela Fragrances, Prada Beauty, Valentino Beauty, L’Oréal Paris, Kérastase, L’Oréal Professionnel and La Roche Posay. Brandon Blackwood collaborates with American Airlines

Brandon Blackwood teamed up with American Airlines to create amenity kits for select passengers through September. The complimentary items will be offered on 125 daily flights later this month. The designer referenced his popular “Portmore” backpack in a miniaturized black version for Flagship First and Flagship Suite Preferred fliers. Flagship Business and Flagship Suite passengers will find a black pouch with red accents, Premium Economy passengers will receive a blue-and-white pouch in his signature checkered pattern and Flagship Business passengers will find a black pouch with red accents and a checkered interior print. {WWD/paywalled}

LIM College launches Resilience Scholarship

LIM Fashion Education Foundation (LIM FEF) launched the Cheya Thousand Resilience Scholarship, founded by LIM College alumna Cheya Thousand. The scholarship is a $10,000 fund awarded over five years to deserving students who demonstrate “resilience, leadership and a commitment to their dreams.” Each year students will receive financial support in denominations of $500, $1,000 or $1,500, with a maximum award of $2,000 annually. Applicants will be required to submit an essay answering the question: “What does resiliency mean to you?
