Joey King Wears Tod’s Loafers and Tailored Knit Set in Milan

Joey King stepped out in white Tod’s loafers on Thursday, anchoring a soft, tailored look at Montblanc’s “Let’s Write” event during Milan Fashion Week.

Attending Montblanc’s “Let’s Write” event, the actress wore white leather loafers from Tod’s, a minimalist silhouette crafted in calfskin with the brand’s signature clamp detail. The style featured a low block heel, rounded toe and clean stitching — a quiet staple with just enough hardware to hold its own.

The polished metal bar across the upper is a hallmark of Tod’s refined aesthetic, often used to nod to the brand’s equestrian heritage without overt embellishment. Made in Italy, the loafers’ pared-back finish brought structure to an otherwise soft look and offered a tactile counterpoint to the knitwear above.

Her outfit — styled by Jared Eng — came from Vassia Kostara’s spring collection and leaned fully into texture and proportion. The top was a cotton knit polo in olive with a subtle rhombus pattern, while the khaki pants featured front pleating, side pockets and inner contrast piping at the waistband. Wide-legged and tailored, the pants strike a balance between ease and construction, complementing the loafers’ sleek silhouette. Both pieces are part of Kostara’s spring 2025 line, which centers natural fabrics and classic tailoring in Mediterranean-inspired hues.

Accessories stayed minimal. King wore sculptural jewelry from Mara Paris, with natural-toned makeup by Polly Osmond and a clean middle-part hairstyle from Ilham Mestour. Tailoring was handled by Sugar Ferrini.

The Milan appearance marks another sharp moment in King’s evolving style run. While she’s known for red carpet gowns and statement heels, recent outings have favored thoughtful flats and smart separates — including a tailored Max Mara look last fall when she was honored with the brand’s Face of the Future Award. Two days before the Montblanc event, she was seated front row at Max Mara Resort 2026 in Milan, continuing a week of elevated but grounded fashion.

Montblanc’s “Let’s Write” event celebrated the brand’s renewed collaboration with Wes Anderson, who directed a new short film honoring the art of writing through his distinct visual style. The just-released film follows the legacy of Montblanc’s Meisterstück pen and stars Anderson alongside Rupert Friend, Michael Cera, Waris Ahluwalia and Esther McGregor.
