Origin Story: Founder Yuni Buffa was born in South Korea, and resided in Seoul, Milan and Vancouver, before earning her degree from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, where she studied industrial design. Upon graduating, she went into shoe design, and honed her skills at Alexander Wang, Loeffler Randall and Rag & Bone.

The veteran shoe designer launched her eponymous brand in 2020. The label was created to realize her vision of how luxury shoes should be made: integrity of design and fit, created with only the highest quality components. Each shoe is sourced and manufactured in Tuscany and produced in limited batches. This mindful, less-is-more approach is also reflected in the brand’s signature aesthetic, which celebrates the beauty of simplicity inspired by 1990s-era minimalism.
