About the Role:
As our first primary Logistics Coordinator, you will lead and shape the logistics function of the brand. You’ll own the full product flow—from raw materials through production, into warehouse and retail, and ultimately to our global customer base. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic mind, attention to detail, and a willingness to think creatively and efficiently. Logistics, shipping, fulfillment experience are non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
● Inbound & Outbound Logistics:
– Manage global freight for raw materials and finished products (air,sea).
– Collaborate with production to prioritize, consolidate, and coordinate inbound freight of fabrics and components to factories ahead of timelines, ensuring on-time delivery to avoid delays.
– Route all finished goods from overseas and NYC factories to our NYC warehouse.
● Inventory & Distribution Management:
– Coordinate and oversee picking and packing for e-commerce, wholesale, and retail store distribution using critical thinking and prioritization.
– Audit and maintain inventory accuracy and systems across all locations (3PL, internal storage, retail stores).
● Wholesale Fulfillment & Coordination:
– Manage the wholesale shipping calendar to 40+ stockists and ensure on-time, accurate fulfillment according to compliance requirements.
– Coordinate timelines and documentation between production, warehouse, and wholesale accounts.
– Track shipments and resolve any delivery or compliance issues in partnership with sales and production teams.
● Warehouse & Store Coordination:
– Manage the seasonal movement of product to and from our warehouse and stores, aligned with product launches, marketing campaigns, and seasonal floor sets.
– Audit and transfer inventory between locations to maximize sales and sell-through.
– Support supply sourcing and ordering.
● Systems & Process Improvement:
– Assess and recommend logistics, inventory, and warehouse software systems as we scale.
– Create and implement efficient routing, tracking, and communication workflows across departments and vendors.
– Own daily operations within warehouse and 3PL portals, ensuring alignment between production deliveries, inventory receipts, and outbound orders.
● Freight & Compliance:
– Handle customs documentation, import/export compliance, and global freight relationships.
– Track landed costs and coordinate with finance on freight billing and vendor charges.
● Cross-Functional Partnership:
– Collaborate with production, merchandising, sales, e-commerce, and retail teams to ensure product arrives where it needs to be—on time and in full.
Qualifications:
● 2–5+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain in fashion, luxury, or consumer goods
● Familiarity with working with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams
● Experience managing inventory systems or WMS (e.g., Shopify, NetSuite, DEAR, etc.)
● Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
● Excellent communication and organization
● Proactive, solution-oriented, and excited to build from the ground up
● NYC-based – able to be in the office and visit warehouse/retail locations as needed
● Interest in working in a small team environment
● Knowledge of import/export processes and global freight regulations
