Cooper Flagg, projected to be the number one pick at the NBA Draft 2025, attended the event in New York City on Wednesday, wearing a pair of velvet loafers from Christian Louboutin. Retailing for $945, the luxury shoes are described by the brand as a classic, elongated loafer that pairs well with all kinds of trousers.

Made with the sophistication and craftsmanship synonymous with the Louboutin brand, the flats are carefully crafted from soft black velvet material and finished with an elegant Grosgrain ribbon trim. The elongated pointed-toe upper adds to its sophistication, and the silhouette is completed by a slightly elevated heel measuring roughly one inch in height.

Flagg paired his Louboutins with a navy three-piece suit by Boss. As for his accessories, Flagg donned a bedazzled timepiece by Hublot.

Flagg has an NIL deal with New Balance, signing on with the company in August 2024. This deal previously put him in a unique situation as the Duke Blue Devils are signed with Nike. “Well it’s obviously a tough situation,” Flagg told the media ahead of Duke’s game against the Arizona Wildcats,” during March Madness. “I love New Balance, but Duke is with Nike, so we have to do that for now.”

The 2025 NBA Draft is an annual event where NBA teams select new players from a pool of eligible college and international players. This year’s draft will take place over two nights, both at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Dallas Mavericks hold the first overall pick.
