Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 pulls 6 million viewers on Netflix, most-watched U.S. boxing event of 2025

An average audience of 6 million viewers watched the trilogy fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano on Netflix this past Friday, Most Valuable Promotions announced Monday afternoon.

The historic all-women card, which broke the record for the most world championships contested on a single boxing event with 17, was streamed on Netflix in more than 200 countries.

Of the 6 million audience, 4.2 million of the viewers came from the United States, according to Netflix, making it one of the most-watched professional women’s sports event of 2025 stateside — just behind the NCAA Women’s March Madness final — and the most-watched professional boxing event in the U.S. in 2025 so far.

Taylor defeated Serrano by majority decision to go 3-0 in their legendary series in front of a sell-out crowd of 19,721 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The live gate, which is the money earned from ticket sales, was $2.63 million — almost double that of the first Taylor vs. Serrano fight at the same venue in 2022, which generated a gate of $1.45 million.

The first two fights between the Irish and Puerto Rican greats were frontrunners for Fight of the Year in 2022 and 2024, respectively. The third fight was a far more technical affair, which suited the Olympic champion boxer Taylor.

The first bout between Taylor and Serrano in April 2022 generated 1.5 million streams on the niche DAZN service. The rematch was on the mega Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul card this past November and was watched by around 50 million households, Netflix said.
