Vonn’s shoes were cut from deep plum leather, with a structured platform sole and slim ankle straps that fastened at the side. The stiletto heel curved in cleanly beneath the foot and was punctuated with small gold hardware.

The Olympic gold medalist has been leaning into the classic ankle-strap heel this week, most recently wearing a patent leather pair at her namesake Red Bull event in Los Angeles the day prior to the ESPYs. There, she styled the glossy stilettos with a croc-embossed mini skirt and layered chains, cultivating a look that merged high-octane shine with red carpet edge.
