Former Andover soccer star returning as new head coach | Local News

ANDOVER — Over 20 years ago, Lyle Morgan remembers being a part of three straight playoff teams as a member of the Andover High boys soccer program. Named the new head coach on Monday, he’s hoping that he can help the Golden Warriors get back to those tournament days.

“We made some good runs. My senior year we moved up from Division 2 to Division 1 and unfortunately, we ran into St. John’s Prep in the opening round, and they let us have it,” he said with a laugh.
