With the NFL preseason buzz building, one voice offering rare insight into the San Francisco 49ers’ mindset isn’t from inside the locker room. Kristin Juszczyk, wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, recently spoke in an exclusive interview about what truly sets the team apart: camaraderie, recovery and readiness.

As part of her role in the Jeep Grand Wagoneer WAGS x ESPYS campaign, the fashion designer opened up to Athlon Sports about the season ahead, sharing how the team’s time off has led to more than just physical rest.

According to Kristin Juszczyk, this offseason has helped the players reconnect and strengthen their team dynamic.

“He’s doing really good,” Kristin Juszczyk said, speaking about her husband Kyle Juszczyk’s mindset. “It’s been more time for everyone to heal their bodies, which we try to look at as a positive.”

But she was quick to point out that rest wasn’t the only benefit of the longer break.

“The boys have had [time] for camaraderie,” she added. “People can train all they want, but camaraderie plays a big role in a team’s success.”

That bond is something Kristin Juszczyk believes gives the 49ers a real edge.

“I think the 49ers have probably one of the best out there,” she said. “It’s about the team’s performance and their ability to hopefully make it all the way.”

The couple have long supported one another’s goals — Kristin Juszczyk’s known for turning heads with her custom gameday designs, while Kyle Juszczyk remains a consistent presence on the 49ers’ offense.

Despite a packed calendar that includes fashion events and speaking engagements, Kristin Juszczyk says they are both excited for what’s next.

“We can’t wait for the football season to start,” she said.

As training camp approaches, it’s clear that the 49ers are entering the new season not just as a team of athletes, but as a group built on trust, chemistry and shared focus.
