TSG Consumer Partners acquires Phlur
Private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners has acquired indie fragrance label Phlur. A value for the deal was not disclosed. Phlur was relaunched in February 2022 by brand accelerator The Center and influencer Chriselle Lim, and is reportedly the number two growth brand at Sephora U.S. and Canada. TSG Consumer invested in Summer Fridays last year, and previously held a stake in Huda Beauty. {Business of Fashion/paywalled}
Skims partners with League One Volleyball
League One Volleyball (LOVB) has tapped Skims as its official loungewear, intimates and sleepwear partner. Skims will participate in LOVB community and athlete-driven events, league-wide activations and more throughout the season. “This partnership with LOVB is an exciting opportunity to expand our reach at the intersection of fashion, culture and sports,” Skims Co-Founder and CEO Jens Grede said in a statement. “Volleyball highlights strength, teamwork and rising female talent and we’re proud to partner with LOVB at this key moment, as LOVB’s mission to transform women’s volleyball aligns with Skims’ goal to empower women, both in sports and beyond.” {Fashionista inbox}
Tyler Haney may be back at Outdoor Voices for another relaunch
Outdoor Voices has wiped its Instagram feed, added “doing things, brb” to its bio line and followed founder Tyler Haney, who also added Outdoor Voices to her personal bio. According to Puck’s Lauren Sherman, Consortium, the licensing firm that bought Outdoor Voices in June 2024, has hired Haney to consult on the brand’s relaunch. Haney has reportedly contracted multiple original team members, and is working on a site redesign and brand overhaul. {Puck/paywalled}
Longchamp inks fragrance license with Interparfums SA
Longchamp has signed a fragrance license agreement with Interparfums SA through Dec. 31, 2036. Interparfums SA will be responsible for the creation, development, production and distribution of fragrance lines in Longchamp points of sale and selective distribution channels. The first launch is expected in 2027. {Interparfums SA}
Willy Chavarria named artist ambassador for ACLU
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has named Willy Chavarria Artist Ambassador, a role in which the designer will focus on immigrant and LGBTQIA+ rights. Chavarria joins Amber Heard, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Padma Lakshmi and others to protect the constitutional rights and freedoms of all people through litigation, advocacy and public education. “I’m honored to be an ambassador for the ACLU, the human rights organization whose work I greatly admire,” Chavarria said in a statement. “Art, music and fashion can have tremendous impact on how we realize and promote social justice and human dignity. Queen Elizabeth II’s wardrobe to go on display in 2026
In honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday in 2026, The King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace will host the largest exhibition of the late Queen’s fashion. With approximately 200 items (half of which will be on display for the first time), “Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style” will chart the monarch’s legacy via clothing worn throughout her life. The exhibition will be open from spring to autumn 2026, with tickets going on sale in November 2025. {Royal Collection Trust}
