The Preliminary New York Fashion Week Spring 2026 Schedule Is Here

Summer isn’t over yet, but it’s already time for fashion insiders to start planning their fashion week looks (personal request? let’s leave the Labubus at home) and itineraries.

On Tuesday, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) released the New York Fashion Week Spring 2026 schedule, which features over 60 designers. Michael Kors will kick things off on Thursday, Sept. 11, and Elena Velez will close it out on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Returning names include Altuzarra, Anna Sui, Coach, Calvin Klein Collection, Campillo, Christian Siriano, Collina Strada, Diotima, Fforme, Elena Velez, Luar, Prabal Gurung, Sandy Liang, Sergio Hudson, Simkhai, Tory Burch and Ulla Johnson, among others.

First timers include 6397, Amir Taghi, Dwarmis, Lii, Maria McManus, Nardos, Raúl Peñaranda, Rùadh and SC103. Plus, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund continues its tradition of spotlighting its finalists. This season, they include Ashlyn, Bach Mai, Bernard James, Don’t Let Disco, Gabe Gordon, Heirlome, Jamie Okuma and Meruert Tolegen.

After skipping last season, Jason Wu and Area return to the schedule. Meanwhile, international favorites Off-White and Toteme (who both made their NYFW debuts for Spring 2025) have opted to again show in the Big Apple.

Also making a surprising return is Alexander Wang. Once an industry favorite, the designer has been mired in controversy since facing sexual misconduct allegations in late 2020. He began showing off-calendar in 2018, returning only once, in February 2023, with a three-part show. It will be interesting to see how this comeback is received by insiders.

“The collections this September represent the resilience and dynamism of the city through a global lens,” Joseph Maglieri, CFDA’s director of Fashion Week Initiatives, said in a statement. “With great returns to the calendar, visiting brands from around the world, and a new guard of rising talent finding their rhythm and stride, New York Fashion Week continues to be a gateway for discovery, creativity and storytelling representing the spirit and independence of American fashion.”
