England roared to a sixth consecutive victory over Wales with a commanding
11-try, 62-0 win at The Gnoll in Neath.

Tries from Jenna Foubister, Hannah Jones, Lucia Davies and Lucy Murray, along with three Isabel Rowe conversions, put the visitors 22-0 up at half-time.

After the break Eva Hunter scored twice on her debut while Rowe, Bella Sykes, Davies, Eboni Partington and Georgia Wilson also went over.

Rowe, the 18-year-old Wigan Warriors half-back, finished the match with 22 point after scoring a try and converting nine of them.

It was a day of debuts for England too as head coach Stuart Barrow handed out five caps in his side. Two of them, Jenna Foubister and Moly Jones, made sure to make their mark early on as they went over within the opening 10 minutes.

Wigan star Anna Davies also went over in the first 40 before it was time for the debutantes to shine again, Lucy Murray getting her name on the scoresheet as England took a dominant 22-0 lead in at the break.

After half-time, it was them the turn of Eva Hunter to go over before Rowe’s effort was added, Bella Sykes diving over as Wales could find no answers.

England endured a record-breaking defeat against world champions Australia in Las Vegas with the outstanding Tamika Upton scoring five of Australia’s 17 tries.

With Eboni Partington and Georgia Wilson rounding out the scoring, England completed a firm bounceback in their first international since their tough 90-4 loss to Australia in Las Vegas.
