This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, fast-paced team and get hands-on experience across the operational side of a growing fashion brand. We’re seeking a driven, detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our inventory, logistics, and production processes. You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations and Product teams to keep orders, shipments, and internal systems running smoothly.
This is a New York–based role working on-site from our Manhattan studio.

Responsibilities
• Assist with new sample management, including logging, labeling, and tracking samples for internal use and retail partners.
• Support open purchase order (PO) tracking—following up on receiving, updating timelines, and ensuring accurate records.
• Track incoming shipments, late stock, and delivery timelines.
• Assist in managing Faire Wholesale operations: monitoring late shipments, updating stock, and collaborating with the Product Assistant to keep orders on schedule.
• Coordinate specialty shipments for national and international retailers, ensuring compliance with packing and documentation requirements.
• Support warehouse coordination, including shipment schedules, packing requirements, and inventory maintenance.
• Maintain organized product and shipping documentation for easy reference.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
• Prepare and ship samples to press, influencers, and retail buyers.
• Pull basic operational reports, including late shipments, incoming inventory, and PO status.
• Support cross-functional teams during product launches, trade shows, and seasonal collections.
• Help keep the studio, sample racks, and storage areas organized.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort learning inventory management platforms such as ShipHero, Shopify, and NuORDER.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.).
• Interest in sustainable fashion and design is a plus.
• Must be based in NYC and available to work on-site.
