Origin Story: Live Tinted is a beauty brand “dedicated to celebrating all complexions.” Inspired by founder Deepica Mutyala’s personal story, Live Tinted is focused on making sure everyone feels seen. Growing up as a “brown girl in Texas,” she was obsessed with being “cool” until she realized being “different” wasn’t the problem, being shown one narrow definition of beauty was. Live Tinted’s mission is to change the beauty narrative and celebrate beauty for all tints.

An ode to Mutyala’s viral YouTube video, this first innovation, the Huestick — an eye, lip and cheek multistick — became an instant community favorite. Live Tinted was the first South-Asian brand sold at Ulta Beauty and is the fastest growing prestige cosmetics brand at the prominent retailer.
