TE Colston Loveland is ‘invited to the cookout’

Tweets Of The Day

Former Michigan tight end Colston Loveland — the No. 10 overall NFL Draft pick in 2025 — had his rookie moment in front of the team, and he delivered. As the Chicago Bears’ social media accounts put it, Loveland is “invited to the cookout.” Loveland sang and danced to the song ‘Let Me Love You’ by Mario.

Former Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy was “on a heater” at training camp practice Thursday. The Vikings were holding a joint practice with the New England Patriots.

Future Michigan quarterback Pete Bourque — a top-100 recruit in the 2027 class — is training ahead of his junior campaign at Hingham (Mass.) Tabor Academy.

Former Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson has been so dominant for the Detroit Lions in joint practice with the Miami Dolphins that there are new rules being created for him so that plays can continue. Quarterback Jared Goff, Hutchinson’s teammate, told 97.1 The Ticket earlier in the week that not only is Hutchinson a “game-wrecker” but he also “wrecks” some practices for the team. Now, that’s occurring to the Dolphins in Allen Park ahead of Saturday’s preseason game between the two teams.

From Barstool Sports:
Lost in a lot of the news, whether it’s contracts or what Browns QB is actually hurt or not, is the fact that the Lions are getting Aidan Hutchinson back. Yeah, that guy who is f—ing awesome? Completely forgot for a half second that he had a devastating injury last year that changed the Lions defense completely. Well, he’s back. Not only is he back, he’s apparently even better.

I know it’s training camp and practices and whatever, but the fact the refs had to stop blowing the whistle because the play would be dead is hilarious. That’s as low as it gets. Then again, at least it’s the Dolphins. They have nothing but positivity going into the season and a coach who isn’t saying weird shit at all

Quote Of The Day

“Normally, I give them my line where the ball is spotted at the 35, which is a 53-yard kick. f there’s wind or we’re feeling something different, I’m usually next to Coach Moore before we go out, and I’ll give him a nod that we’re good to go or that I need a couple more yards. Usually, we start around a 53-yard kick, but that can change.”
