Katseye fronts Gap’s fall denim campaign

Gap released its “Better in Denim” Fall 2025 campaign starring girl group Katseye. Directed by Bethany Vargas, choreographed by Robbie Blue and photographed by Bjorn Iooss, the ad reintroduces low-rise denim through a dance set to “Milkshake” by Kelis. Gap’s Long & Lean jeans return with a reengineered waistband, enhanced comfort and 10 new seasonal washes. Gap will also release a limited-edition $80 Katseye logo hoodie available for pre-order starting Aug. 22. {Fashionista inbox}

Rachel Scott may be headed to Proenza Schouler

Puck’s Lauren Sherman reported that Diotima founder Rachel Scott has been chosen to join Proenza Schouler as Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s successor. The founding designers left the label in January, and soon assumed the top position at Loewe. Scott was named the CFDA’s womenswear designer of the year in 2024, just three years after founding Diotima. The appointment has not yet been confirmed by either brand. {Puck/paywalled}

Parsons names new executive dean

The New School announced that Anne Gaines, interim dean of the School of Fashion at Parsons and an associate professor of contemporary art practice, is the new executive dean of Parsons School of Design. Gaines began her new role on Monday. As executive dean, Gaines will oversee an innovative curriculum, financial and resource management, fundraising and partnerships, and administration and culture. She succeeds Yvonne Watson, who will be taking on a new role for the university. {Fashionista inbox}

Vuori signs tennis star Jack Draper

Lifestyle brand Vuori announced a multi-year partnership with global tennis star Jack Draper. Draper will serve as a global brand ambassador and will debut the partnership wearing Vuori at this year’s U.S. Open Tennis Championships. Heidi Klum’s son makes runway debut for Kith

Heidi Klum and Seal’s 19-year-old son Henry Samuel made his New York runway debut for Kith, which staged its first show in six years on the city block outside of its Manhattan flagship store on Sunday. Klum and Samuel’s younger brother, 18-year-old Johan, cheered him on from the front row. After the show, Klum told GQ‘s Eileen Cartter she thought Samuel walked “like a pro.” {GQ/paywalled}
