Origin Story: Ranger Station was founded in 2015 in Nashville by Steve Soderholm, who was a professional drummer at the time. He turned to candle-making as a diversion between gigs. His now-wife Jordan came on board to help turn the hobby into a business. Ranger Station opened its first brick-and-mortar storefront in Nashville in July 2023 and its second in New York City’s West Village on Bleecker Street in May 2025.
