There will be a slightly different TV and radio team for the Cardinals in their game against the Raiders.
The Arizona Cardinals have their final preseason game Saturday at home against the Las Vegas Raiders. They kick off from State Farm Stadium at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. Arizona time) and the game, as all their preseason games have, will air on Channel 5 in the Phoenix area.
The game will also be carried live on NFL Network, but not in the Phoenix area.
You can listen to the radio broadcast of the game on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.
But in this final preseason game, the broadcast teams are being changed up.
Cardinals vs. Raiders: TV, radio broadcast team changes
The Cardinals normally do not have a TV broadcast team because, in the regular season, the TV networks (FOX, CBS, etc) run the broadcasts. The team broadcast team is on the radio. It would normally be Dave Pasch doing play-by-play and, replacing Ron Wolfley, who had the job for 20 years, A.Q. Shipley as the analyst.
But with the team TV preseason broadcasts, Pasch has moved to the TV booth with Sam Acho, a former Cardinals player who also works for ESPN as an analyst, while Shipley was the analyst on the radio broadcast with Paul Calvisi running play-by-play.
However, for the game against the Raiders, Pasch is unavailable.
So the TV team will be Calvisi and Acho. On the radio side, Craig Grialou steps in alongside Shipley.
Once the regular season begins, Pasch and Shipley will be on the radio call and Calvisi will be the sideline reporter.
So if you tune into the Cardinals’ game tonight against the Raiders, whether on TV or on the radio, it will be a different broadcast team than before.
