Fashionphile Debuts Parker & West Preloved Fine Jewelry Line

Fashionphile on Tuesday revealed the launch of its private, unbranded fine jewelry line Parker & West. The luxury resale platform said the launch is a modern take on the traditional estate experience — making it a “natural extension of Fashionphile’s taste and quality standards.”

Sarah Davis, president of Fashionphile, told WWD the company realized that throughout its time in the luxury resale market, it had also encountered fine jewelry from artisans and lesser-known jewelers.

“We’ve gained unique access to some of the most extraordinary closets on the planet,” said Davis. “We realized that the estate jewelry resale world is overflowing with uncurated, inconsistent in quality and very difficult to shop and navigate fine jewelry. By launching Parker & West, we’re extending our expertise in luxury resale curation to a space we believe deserves the same care, trust and elevated experience.”

Davis said the target consumer for Parker & West is a “discerning, style-conscious luxury shopper.” The line was launched for those seeking one-of-a-kind pieces who shop with intention, love timeless designs and are drawn to unique pieces.

Estate finds often can mean “uncurated listings, inconsistent quality and little assurance about materials or craftsmanship,” Davis said. She Davis explained that although estate jewelry has always had an overwhelming experience, this was how the resale market used to operate back in the early 2000s and was one of the reasons why Fashionphile was created initially.

Created by Fashionphile, Parker & West aims to tap into this white space within the category and curate heirloom-quality pre-owned jewelry, she noted. With the launch of Parker & West, the company said it will continue to bring its authentication and curatorial expertise to this untapped market.

“It brings the same rigor, discernment and focus on quality to a segment of the resale market that’s historically been overlooked,” said Davis.

Given that authentication is the core principle of Fashionphile, pieces for Parker & West will similarly undergo a multistep authentication and quality verification process led by fine jewelry experts. These include material testing, gemstone and diamond analysis and craftsmanship review.

Material testing for purity sees the metals undergo industry-standard techniques such as X-ray fluorescence to confirm karat weight and material composition, with a high threshold of acceptance. Each stone is evaluated by GIA-trained gemologists for authenticity and quality characteristics using loupe inspection, refractometers, UV testing and gemological microscopes to assess cut, clarity, color and carat — and also to identify synthetic or treated stones. Craftsmanship review sees the Fashionphile team look at each piece’s construction quality, historical hallmarks and markings and other design details to meet the company’s standards.

“The pre-owned estate and unbranded market is a mess right now. While the luxury resale space is filled with platforms focused on the best of designer, the estate jewelry market is often overwhelming and inconsistent. We’ve eliminated all of the filler, clutter and guesswork. We’ve taken the thrill of treasure hunting and combined it with the trust and polish of the Fashionphile ultra-luxury experience,” said Davis.

The jewelry line will feature preloved rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings available both online and in-store for customers to discover special fine jewelry pieces. Prices range from $1,000 to $10,000 or more.

“Fashionphile has always stood for trust, expertise and unparalleled curation in the luxury resale space. We really are the best in the business. Our mission is to redefine what it means to buy pre-owned luxury. We make it not just accessible — but aspirational,” claimed Davis.
