Nike has officially confirmed what has long been assumed: Caitlin Clark is a signature athlete, and her debut sneaker will release in 2026.
Along with the announcement, Nike has revealed Clark’s signature logo, consisting of interlocking Cs.
“Nike’s signature roster features all-time greats, and I am incredibly proud to join some of the best athletes in the world,” the second-year WNBA superstar said in a press release. “I’m excited to share a first look at what we’ve started to create together.”
Clark’s mark is intended to represent her “magnetic connection” with fans, and a third, smaller C is tucked in between the larger letters. It will make its debut on a T-shirt releasing next week, followed in October by a larger apparel collection including more T-shirts, hoodies, shorts and pants.
“At Nike, we’ve always drawn inspiration not only from the world’s greatest athletes but also from those who elevate the spirit of sport itself,” said Ann Miller, executive vice president of Nike global sports marketing. “Caitlin exemplifies both: an exceptional basketball player and an outstanding ambassador for the game. “We’re excited to take this next step together, continuing to shape this historic time for women’s basketball and pushing the game and industry forward.”
Clark has been a Nike athlete since 2022 and has worn sneakers from Kobe Bryant’s signature line throughout college and the WNBA. She got her first shoe release earlier this year through a personalized edition of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro. Her Kobe 6 Protro is also expected to release in October, followed by a “Rookie of the Year” edition of the Kobe 5 Protro in 2026.
As she transitioned from a collegiate to professional athlete last year, Clark inked a new deal with Nike worth a reported $28 million over eight years. Reports also indicated that her shoe would come in 2026, but that hadn’t been confirmed by Nike until Monday evening.
Nike’s roster of female signature basketball players also includes A’ja Wilson, whose first shoe launched earlier this year, and Sabrina Ionescu, who is now on her third Nike Sabrina model.
The Nike Caitlin Clark logo T-shirt will release Monday through Nike’s website, and the rest of her logo collection will follow on Oct. 1 through the same channel.
