Sorel is kicking off fall by teaming up with London-based luxury streetwear brand Aries.
The centerpiece of the new collaboration is the Sorel x Aries Callsign Horizon sneaker, a silhouette inspired by its signature Caribou boot. The convertible sneaker style is characterized by a removable zip-off micro ripstop shroud with bungee cord closure and cord-lock. The shoe also features a Gore-Tex and micro ripstop upper, full grain leather rand and mudguard, and a lock down lace.
Additional performance details of the shoe include a removable molded Ortholite footbed, lightweight molded LivelyFoam midsole, and a molded Xs Trek Vibram compound outsole. The partnership includes a limited run of a zip-up hoodie and a beanie. The shoe retails for $250.
Cory Long, president of Sorel, said in a statement that this new collaboration “captures the energy and rebellious spirit that Aries brings to streetwear, while staying true to Sorel’s commitment to durability and performance.”
“It’s been exciting to see how Aries has reinterpreted our functional silhouette with striking detailing, premium materials, and an edge that challenges convention,” Long said.

Sofia Prantera, founder and creative director of Aries, added that the partnership offered a “unique opportunity to converge Aries’ DNA of quiet rebellion and subculture influence with Sorel’s rich heritage in performance footwear.
“The result is an elevated expression of the Callsign Horizon that feels authentic to both brands – refined, bold, and built for the way people really live,” Prantera noted.
The Sorel x Aries collaboration is now available at us.ariesarise.com and select retailers including Kith, FWRD and Shoe Gallery in the U.S., End in the U.K. and BSTN in Germany.
This new collaboration marks the first time any brand has worked with Sorel’s new Callsign Horizon shoe. The footwear model made its debut just last month for fall/winter 2025.
Outside of the Aries collaboration, the Callsign Horizon sneaker is available in neutral colorways like chalk, honey white and jet black and are made for both commuting in the city and hiking a trail.

In July, Sorel parent company Columbia Sportswear noted that its second quarter financial results “reflect sustained momentum in our international markets.”
In Q2 2025, the company saw net sales increase 6 percent to $605.2 million from $570.2 million for the same time last year. The company said the increase primarily reflects changes in wholesale shipment timing which benefited sales in the quarter, and higher spring 2025 wholesale orders, partially offset by lower direct-to-consumer net sales.
For Sorel, the footwear brand saw net sales in the second quarter of $18.83 million, a 10 percent decrease from $21.03 million in Q2 2024.
Looking ahead, the company expects overall net sales in fiscal 2025 to be between a 1 percent decline to increase 1 percent, resulting in net sales between $3.33 billion to $3.40 billion, compared to $3.37 billion in 2024.
