Sometimes the smallest pieces make the biggest statements, and that’s especially true of the Fall 2025 accessory trends. (As they say, the devil is in the details.)

We looked to current street style to get a read on the specific accoutrements that are about to be everywhere — and that just might carry over into next year, too. According to shoppers and our stylish sources, this season’s biggest trends include brooches, neckties, skinny scarves, skull caps and fabric headbands.

We’ve been noticing brooches on runways for a few seasons now, and Google search data confirms that interest in the decorative pins is now at an all-time high. A quick scan of stores and street style also indicates a growing obsession with neck candy. In particular, skinny scarves are rising in popularity — the latest Y2K trend making the rounds again — as are business-y neckties.

In terms of headwear, classic fabric headbands have become an unexpected ‘It’ item in recent months. There’s also been an interesting surge in crochet or otherwise knitted skull caps — small and delicate toppers that punctuate any ensemble with intentional style (if not much warmth).
