Leslie Bibb Knows Her Bob Has a Life of Its Own

Before Leslie Bibb steps onto the red carpet, she likes to say a little prayer. “Please, baby Jesus,” she says it goes. “Please, God, don’t let me fall.” Then, she takes a moment for a little bit of gratitude—after all, she is the Leslie Bibb: actress, model, and member of the super-nominated cast of The White Lotus—and then it’s go-time.

For tonight’s red carpet at the 2025 Emmy Awards, Bibb is wearing Armani fashion and beauty. “It’s a very special moment to be working with Armani,” she tells Vogue. The Italian fashion house’s founder, Giorgio Armani, recently passed at age 91. “I hate that we have to use the word was, the past tense, when talking about Mr. Armani. He was a legend and his designs redefined timeless elegance.”

Bibb and her stylist, Jeanann Williams, chose a look from the latest Privé collection for Emmys night. “It’s one of the last dresses from his last collection, and it made me cry when I saw it.” Also, she adds coolly: “It just arrived yesterday.”

For beauty, Bibb worked with her go-to team, makeup artist Rachel Goodwin and hairstylist John Dee. “I love that damn Luminous Silk foundation,” Bibb says of Armani Beauty’s cult-favorite complexion product. “That and the concealer give you the best version of your skin.” From there, it’s all about choosing either an eye or a lip—but you can’t have both. The team decided to go with a smoky eye and pinky-nude lip.

And then, of course, there’s her signature haircut. Called a “c*nty bob” by some, it was chopped by iconic hairstylist Chris McMillan (he of “The Rachel”) and has been inspiring women to pick up the shears ever since. “It’s so funny, this bob has taken on its own life,” Bibb says of her precise, razored ’do. “It will always remind me of Kate.” Tonight, it’s worn parted to the side.

Tonight, Bibb has brought a little bit of her The White Lotus character to the carpet. “Probably the most Kate thing about me is that I’m a perfectionist and so is she. It’s something I’m working on because it can really drive you nuts if you let it. When I had my first meeting with [The White Lotus creator and writer] Mike White, he made me do the Enneagram test and he told me that I was a perfectionist! And Kate was too, so that was where we started.”
