A runway cameo is a rite of passage when you’re a Beckham—even if you’re not part of the immediate family. These days, she lingers on the runway only briefly—to shyly accept applause after unveiling one of her own collections—but 20 years ago, matriarch Victoria gamely slipped on her satin hotpants to walk for Maria Grachvogel, a fashion week fixture at the time.
VB’s eldest son Brooklyn was also part of the blockbuster cast that appeared on the inaugural Vogue World runway in New York in 2022, along with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, who was previously cast in a Balenciaga show years before she met her British beau. Still, it’s middle son Romeo Beckham (whose ex-girlfriend Mia Regan has walked for Valentino and JW Anderson) who looks set to become a runway regular.
Last night, the 23-year-old walked the runway for H&M alongside new-gen stars Lila Moss, Paloma Elsesser, and Alex Consani, helping to kick off London Fashion Week as part of another star-studded extravaganza from the high-street brand (which so memorably lured editors to Olympic Park for a Charli xcx-helmed warm-up party this time last year). Romeo Beckham’s appearance in a leather flight jacket with matching leather trousers follows his previous modeling turns for Balenciaga (spring summer 2025) and Versace (fall winter 2025).
Another unexpected face on the runway? British singer Lola Young, who made her own fashion week debut in a snug biker jacket and chain embellished boots on Thursday night, before performing her monster hit “Messy” for a crowd that included Emily Ratajkowski, Central Cee, and Little Simz.
