Does Michigan football play this week?

Nope, the No. 20 Wolverines will be off for Week 5 with a bye after traveling to Lincoln, Nebraska, for a 30-27 win against the Cornhuskers on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Michigan (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) opened the season with New Mexico, Oklahoma, Central Michigan and Nebraska before having their bye, which also signifies the end of Michigan coach Sherrone Moore’s suspension.

The Wolverines won’t have a game on Saturday, Sept. 27, but will be back in action for Week 6, hosting a struggling Wisconsin team at the Big House. The Badgers (2-2, 0-1) are also on bye in Week 5.

Ironically, Michigan’s in-state rival Michigan State will also have a bye in Week 5, so it might be the perfect time for football fans in the state to go apple picking or to knock out some chores around the house.

Does Michigan football play next week?

No. Michigan has a bye for Week 5 and won’t be back into action until Week 6 when the Wolverines host Wisconsin.
