What: A technical apparel brand designed for women who love the outdoors.

Price Range: $68 – $148

Founders: Valentina Thompson and Madison Hilson

Origin Story: After years spent working at major retailers like Outdoor Voices and Victoria’s Secret, duo Valentina Thompson and Madison Hilson moved to Utah in 2021 and 2022, where they immersed themselves in the outdoor culture of Salt Lake and Park City. There, they spotted an obvious gap: While men had endless technical options, women were stuck choosing between gear that fit poorly or lacked style. So Thompson and Hilson got to work on creating a solution.

The mission was clear: merge the durability of legacy brands with the modern, fashion-forward lens of indie labels. In 2023, Seniq was born. The label quickly grew from a direct-to-consumer model to entering 25 storefronts nationwide, including REI and Backcountry. In 2024, the brand generated $330,000 in sales and is on track to reach $1 million by the end of the year.

Hero Products: Trailmix Cargo Pant ($148)

Stockists: REI, Title Nine, Backcountry

PR Representation: In-house
