Highlights, plays of the game from Week 5 win

Let’s take a look back at the Jaguars’ Week 5 win over the Chiefs with the top highlights and plays of the game.

That is what we call a statement win by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

At 3-1 heading into a Week 5 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, on the national stage, the Jaguars came from behind to defeat the perennial Super Bowl contenders.

Since James Gladstone and Liam Coen have taken over this Jaguars team in their respective roles, the two have preached the importance of being resilient and responding to adversity.

Well, on Monday Night, his Jaguars team showcased those abilities.

To go along with Trevor Lawrence’s game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter, the Jaguars also overcame a first-half deficit of 14 points by responding with 21 unanswered points of their own.

“The toughness and resiliency is something I’m really proud of,” Liam Coen said after the game.

Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars in rushing and scored two touchdowns on the ground. That element proved to be critical to the Jaguars’ success as it helped extend a number of drives.

In the passing game, Lawrence completed 18-of-25 passes for 221 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He seemingly willed the Jaguars into the end zone on that final possession.

Defensively, linebacker Devin Lloyd recorded his fourth interception of the season, this time a pick-six that not only put seven points on the board for the Jaguars, but it also took points off the board for the Chiefs with Kansas City inside the Jacksonville five-yard line.

The Jaguars are now 4-1 on the season. Next up is another home game in Week 6, this time against the Seattle Seahawks.
