A look at which games are being broadcast in which areas of the country as the Cowboys aren’t on primetime in Week 6
The Dallas Cowboys are back to being a traveling road show. With one of, if not the biggest fanbases in all of sports, the club tends to travel well. Not only do they have large contingents in most major cities around the country, the fanbase also travels well. It allows great scenes to play out across the league where, if the Cowboys are performing well, their in-attendance fans are often loud and heard on TV broadcasts as if it’s a home game.
That could be the case once again this weekend as the 2-2-1 Cowboys head to North Carolina to take on the Panthers. Dallas has a strong history in the southeast portion of the country, and the Panthers inability to build a consistent winner as a franchise has allowed those roots to remain. However, it will be a bit more difficult for those not in attendance to watch the game, as there’s a fractured coverage map this week thanks to the two teams missing the playoffs badly last season.
