A pop of red, a perfect trench, some ever so slightly flared pants—Harry Styles has started dressing for fall.

The musician was spotted out and about in New York City yesterday morning (October 16), wearing a black trench coat, a red scarf, black flared pants, and his well-worn adidas Samba sneakers. He also toted a large brown duffel bag.

Styles sported one of his favorite pieces of outerwear, a dark trench with a sleek silhouette, that hits just below the knee, and that he wears with the collar popped up. Styles has a penchant for considerate layering, whether it’s pieces from The Row or an S.S. Daley knit—and while he also loves his short shorts, autumnal dressing is where Styles truly thrives.

Rumors have been circulating that Styles has been working on his fourth studio album, a follow up to 2022’s Harry’s House. It’s been reported that he’s been making the album in Berlin. But Styles has also been spending more and more time in New York with alleged girlfriend Zoe Kravitz.

While their relationship is still relatively new, they’ve already garnered some viral couples style moments, each wearing perfectly shaped denim, loafers, and simple t-shirts paired with sunglasses and iced coffees.

The anatomy of Harry Styles’s London boy style has long been established with his beloved blue chore coat from The Row, some black loafers (also by the Olsens), a pair of thick, sepia-lensed Jacques Marie Mage aviators, and lace-up Vans. Add some wired headphones, and you’ve living la Styles. Of recent, he’s swapped his baseball cap for a jaunty straw bucket hat, and added a pair of slim Dries Van Noten sneakers into his shoe rotation.
