Chaos continues to reign at following the sacking of Ange Postecoglou.

The Australian coach was drafted in following the decision of club owner Evangelos Marinakis to sack Nuno Espirito Santo last month.

Postecoglou's appointment was viewed as a controversial risk, following his dismissal from Tottenham Hostpur over the summer, after ending the 2024/25 season in 17th place.

His drive to win the UEFA title in May – and end Spurs' 17-year wait for a trophy – split the fan base over his future.

Daniel Levy's call to remove him put several Premier League clubs on notice over his availability and Marinakis swooped following his own heavily-criticised call to get rid of Nuno.

The trigger-happy Greek businessman ended Postecoglou's misery after just 39 days at the City Ground – the second-shortest managerial stint in EPL history – with no wins in his eight games in charge across all competitions.

Veteran boss Sean Dyche has been mooted as an option to come in as Forest's third manager of the campaign but reports from The Guardian claim Roberto Mancini is also interested in the job.

Both managers have Premier League experience, with Dyche taking charge of 333 games across spells at Burnley and , with Mancini at the helm of for 191 games.

The Italian coach infamously led City to their first-ever Premier League title in 2012 and won UEFA Euro 2020 as Italy boss.

Marinakis has reportedly reached out to both coaches – who are out of work following Mancini exit as Saudi Arabia boss in 2024 – but a move for Marco Silva could be blocked by his £8m [$10.75m] release clause which would complicate Forest's Profit & Sustainability targets.
