Caitlin Clark’s Immediate Reaction to Pacers Making NBA Finals originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark may be injured, but it hasn’t stopped her from showing support to her team and their NBA counterpart, the Indiana Pacers.
A day after cheering for her Fever from the sidelines of Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Clark returned to the arena on Saturday as the Pacers took on the New York Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Clark — who is currently nursing a left quadriceps strain — attended the game alongside her Fever teammates Aliyah Boston and Lexie Hull. She was locked in throughout the game, cheering for the Pacers as they attempted to close out the ECF series.
In the end, the Pacers beat the Knicks, 125-108, and booked their ticket to the NBA Finals with a 4-2 series win. Pascal Siakam led the way for Indiana with 31 points, while Tyrese Haliburton recorded 21 points, six rebounds and 13 assists.
Following the victory, Clark quickly took to Instagram to react to the major development. She kept her reaction simple, but it’s clear how proud she is of the team.
“FINALSSSSS,” Clark wrote, along with a video of the final seconds of the game.
Caitlin Clark has attended a number of Pacers games this postseason, and with the team reaching the NBA Finals, it’s safe to assume that the Fever star will keep showing support for the franchise.
The WNBA All-Star is sidelined until at least June 9, when she is scheduled to be re-evaluated. That being said, she should have plenty of chances to watch the Pacers as they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals.
