It’s time for you decide the fate of the Detroit Pistons free agents for the 2025 offseason.
The Pistons have five players set to become unrestricted NBA free agents June 30, when other teams can begin negotiating with them. The Pistons will have an exclusive window to negotiate deals with each, beginning one day after the NBA Finals ends.
Below, you can vote whether you’d like to see each Pistons free agent stay or go.
Four of the five played integral roles for the 2024-25 Pistons rebirth.
Tim Hardaway Jr. started 83 games for the Pistons, including all six in the first-round playoff series loss to the New York Knicks. Malik Beasley set a regular-season franchise record with 319 3-pointers made. Dennis Schröder was a savvy trade deadline acquisition. Paul Reed played critical backup center minutes against the Knicks with Isaiah Stewart missing the final five games. Lindy Waters III is the other free agent.
The Pistons have pathways to re-sign each one. Beasley is the trickiest since he signed a one-year deal last summer so the Pistons don’t have his Bird Rights (they do for Hardaway and Schröder), which would have allowed them to re-sign him despite being over the cap. But they can still maneuver to get a deal done.
Who do you want to see return? Vote in each poll below and see the results.
Malik Beasley: Stay or Go?
Tim Hardaway Jr.: Stay or Go?
