Real Madrid make an offer for 20-year-old promising Granada centre back

Dean Huijsen has arrived in Madrid and will travel with the club to the United States for the FIFA Club World Cup.

He arrives as their long-term bet in central defence but the club has not stopped at his signing.

With both David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger at the twilight of their careers, the club rightfully see the need for more depth in the department and are thus eyeing bright young talents in the position.

MARCA now bring to light one such young star Real Madrid are eyeing who could well be one of their long-term bets should they choose to sign him.

As brought to light by the Spanish outlet, the youngster who has impressed Los Blancos is none other than Granada’s Oscar Naasei.

The 20-year-old Ghanaian international already has an offer from Real Madrid, although not likely for the first team, and Granada are working hard to keep the player away from the noise around his future. They hope to give him a first-team place and guaranteed minutes.

Immediately after hearing of Real Madrid’s interest, Granada manager Jose Pacheta is said to have spoken with Naasei about their faith in him, but the player could well fall for the allure of Real Madrid despite their best efforts.

After all, even signing for Los Blancos’ subsidiary team works to bring him a step closer to elite football and he would likely take the bet and back himself to break through to the first team given his talent.

Naasei’s current contract at the club runs until 2028 and it remains to be seen what sum Granada demand if the player is hell-bent on leaving. Last season, he made six appearances for Granada’s first team and 13 appearances for the subsidiary side in their respective leagues.
