Keke Palmer Wears Gold Platform Heels and Versace Mini Dress in NYC

Keke Palmer continued her vintage streak in New York City on Wednesday, stepping out in Midtown wearing head-to-toe gold — including metallic platform heels with a razor-sharp stiletto. The look marked another standout moment from Palmer and stylist Molly Dickson, who have quietly built one of June’s most compelling rosters of archival pieces, spanning everything from Versace to Roberto Cavalli.

Her shoes were metallic gold sandals with a sky-high stiletto, platform sole and mirrored finish. A slender ankle strap added to the 2000s-era silhouette, anchoring the maximalist base of the ensemble.

Palmer wore a vintage gold Versace mini dress with sculpted texture, an underbust cut-out and Medusa buttons along the bust and shoulder. The fabric shifted between champagne and brass in the light, while darted seams and a structured bodice recalled the house’s early-2000s eveningwear. The high-shine finish and abbreviated hem kept the overall effect modern.

She finished the look with a thick bracelet and pendant earrings. Her auburn hair, styled in a deep side part with flipped ends, added to the throwback feel, while bronze makeup and high-gloss lips stayed within the same metallic palette.

This marks another shoe-forward moment in a year defined by standout footwear for Palmer. Since the start of 2025, she’s leaned into bold heels from labels like Tom Ford, Christian Louboutin and Femme LA — often grounding vintage looks with silhouettes that feel fresh but deliberate.

Earlier the same day, she wore early-2000s Roberto Cavalli with patchwork denim platforms by Dolce & Gabbana. At the BET Awards, she chose a black tulle-trimmed mini from Chanel’s fall 1993 haute couture collection. She paired the dress with Femme LA’s Rum pumps in black patent vegan leather, featuring a 120mm stiletto and low-cut vamp. The pointed-toe silhouette was pared down by Palmer’s standards but still offered leg-lengthening structure.

Palmer was at SiriusXM promoting her visual album, “Just Keke,” which comes out on Friday.
