Raiders offensive depth chart in minicamp, heading into training camp

Raiders mandatory minicamp is now behind us and training camp is up next. Minicamp did offer a good indication of where the roster stands in terms of a depth chart, so let’s take a look at how we can expect the Raiders offense to line up when the Raiders reconvene about a month from today.

QB Geno Smith Aidan O’Connell Carter Bradley Cam Miller
RB Ashton Jeanty Sincere McCormick Dylan Laube
RB2 Raheem Mostert Zamir White Chris Collier
WR Dont’e Thornton Collin Johnson Justin Shorter Shedrick Jackson
WR Tre Tucker Key’Shawn Smith Ketron Jackson Jr. Zakhari Franklin
SWR Jakobi Meyers Jack Bech Alex Bachman Kyle Philips Tommy Mellott
TE Brock Bowers Qadir Ismail Pat Conroy
TE2 Michael Mayer Ian Thomas Carter Runyon
LT Kolton Miller Charles Grant Parker Clements
LG Dylan Parham Caleb Rogers Laki Tasi
C Jackson Powers-Johnson Jordan Meredith Jarrod Hufford
RG Alex Cappa Thayer Munford Will Putnam
RT DJ Glaze Dalton Wagner Gotliieb Ayedze

Notes:

Dont’e Thornton has emerged as the favorite to start at the X receiver spot. While Tre Tucker has had little competition for the speedy deep threat option on the other side. Jakobi Meyers gets work outside as well, but moves inside in three receiver sets.

They really like what they’ve seen from Ian Thomas as the number three tight end. But Qadir Ismail has looked good as well. I could see him making for a tough cut and a practice squad candidate.

The two drafted rookie OL have been running second team behind the veterans at left tackle and left guard respectively. Meanwhile former tackle Thayer Munford has been moved to guard to see if he can contribute there. He stepped up to first team at left guard when Dylan Parham got banged up in minicamp.
