13 1st-round prospects had top-30 meeting with Cardinals

We know many of the Cardinals’ official visits, and 13 were with players who could viably be their first-round pick.

The Arizona Cardinals have wrapped up their official pre-draft visits at their team headquarters, known as top-30 meetings or “30” meetings, as they are permitted to bring in up to 30 prospects.

These visits are used for a number of reasons. Sometimes they are to spend time with potential first-round picks to get to know them more personally than the few minutes they get at the NFL combine or other events. Sometimes it is to get a medical evaluation. Sometimes it is for likely undrafted players as a sort of way to recruit them following the draft.

While not all 30 of the Cardinals’ official visits have been reported, we know a number of them and 13 were with players who could viably be their first-round pick.

Who were the first-round prospects who had official visits? These are the ones we know of.

2025 NFL draft 1st-round prospect top-30 visits with Cardinals

  • Ohio State OL Josh Simmons
  • Texas OL Kelvin Banks
  • Toledo DL Darius Alexander
  • Ole Miss DL Walter Nolen
  • Michigan DL Kenneth Grant
  • Georgia EDGE Jalon Walker

  • Tennessee EDGE James Pearce Jr.
  • Texas A&M EDGE Shemar Stewart

While there isn’t a guarantee, it certainly feels like one of these players will ultimately be the pick at No. 16 overall.
