Meryll Rogge wins 2025 Andam Prize

Belgian designer Meryll Rogge is the winner of the 2025 Andam Prize. Rogge took home the €300,000 Grand Prize, while Alainpaul won the €100,000 Special Prize. Burc Akyol won the Pierre Bergé Prize and Sarah Levy won the Accessories Prize, with each receiving €100,000. The Andam jury gathered on June 30 at IFM Paris to select the winners from the 11 finalists. {Fashionista inbox}

L’Oréal to acquire Color Wow

L’Oréal has signed an agreement to acquire hair-care brand Color Wow, the company announced on Monday. Color Wow was founded in 2013 by Gail Federici, and has experienced rapid growth in part due to a dedicated online community. “Joining L’Oréal is an incredible opportunity for the entire Color Wow team,” Federici said in a statement. “Becoming part of the world’s number one beauty company, will set the stage for Color Wow’s continued success and help drive our innovation to new heights.” {L’Oreal}

Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo spotlighted in Australian exhibition

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) in Melbourne, Australia, is hosting a major exhibition pairing the work of designers Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons. With more than 140 featured designs, the exhibition will explore the convergences and divergences between the two innovators. Audiences will follow the designers’ creations from the mid-1970s to present day, with a focus on the punk zeitgeist of the ’70s, reinterpretation of historical fashion references, experimental design and more. The ticketed Westwood | Kawakubo exhibition opens Dec. 7, 2025 and runs through April 19, 2026. {Fashionista inbox}

Victoria Beckham and Safilo Group sign 10-year eyewear license

Safilo Group and Victoria Beckham have signed a 10-year global licensing agreement for the design, manufacturing and distribution of the Victoria Beckham branded eyewear collections until December 2035. The full eyewear range (including optical and sun) will be unveiled for the Spring 2026 season, entering the market in January 2026. Safilo Group CEO Angelo Trocchia said in a statement that this collaboration “will further enhance the women’s portfolio within Safilo’s brand architecture and strengthen our presence in the luxury segment.” {Safilo Group}

Versed lands at Ulta

Beauty brand Versed is launching at 300 Ulta Beauty stores on July 7, and will be available on ulta.com on Tuesday. Founded by Katherine Power, Versed introduced color cosmetics in February with a 14-piece makeup collection at Target. To amplify its Ulta retail expansion, Versed is making its largest-ever investment in influencer marketing by partnering with 14 creators, including makeup artist Kelli Anne Sewell. {Glossy/paywalled}
