JJJJound Puma Mostro 03823-02 403823-03 Release Date

JJJJound linked up with Puma back in 2022 for two different capsules featuring the Suede, and the two collaborators are now reuniting for the first time in three years for one of the German brand’s hottest models.

The JJJJound x Puma Mostro sees the sneaker given a premium suede makeover. Keeping true to its minimalist reputation, the Canadian creative studio strips away the Formstrip and uses faint stitching to articulate the mark. The entirety of the upper is rendered in either Deep Navy or Dark Chocolate suede, while the spiky sole unit on both colorways appears in black. A cream sockliner, insole and laces unite the colorway duo even further, as JJJJound’s name is printed on the insole.

Since commencing its major relaunch in 2024 for its 25th anniversary, the Mostro has been subject to a great deal of dramatic transformation. A$AP Rocky introduced a 3D-printed Mostro slip-on before adding Disc lacing technology for the Mostro Disccord and offering yet another rework with the caged Mostro Gabbia. A jelly shoe rework just got its debut Tuesday, and earlier in the year the Mostro Fey came in to capitalize on the mary jane trend. Louis Gabriel Nouchi has provided a mule build, and Aries did up the Mostro in suede with a braided Formstrip serving as the maximalist counterpart to JJJJound’s collaboration.

JJJJound’s last sneaker collaboration came in June with the Asics Gel-Quantum 360 1 AMP releasing shortly after a Gel-Kayano 14.

The JJJJound x Puma Mostro has been confirmed to hit third-party retailers on July 12 and will likely release through JJJJound’s in the days preceding. Pricing is set at $175.
