The Detroit Tigers already have one of the strongest farm systems in baseball, and fans will get a sneak peak of that strength during the All-Star break.

Three players in the Tigers organization have been named to the 2025 All-Star Futures Game: infielder Kevin McGonigle, center fielder Max Clark and catcher/first baseman Josue Briceño. Only one team is sending as many players: the Seattle Mariners, with every other team sending one or two.

This is Clark's second-straight year in the Futures Game, as he was one of two Tigers (2B Hao-Yu Lee) named to the 2024 roster.

The Futures Game is an annual showcase of some of the best minor league talent from each organization, with players getting a chance to play in front of a nationally-televised audience in a big-league park. This year's game will take place at Truist Park in Atlanta on Saturday, July 12 (4 p.m. ET, MLB Network).

Here's a breakdown of the three Tigers prospects participating in the game, with their overall ranking courtesy of MLB Pipeline.

INF Kevin McGonigle (No. 7 overall)

The shortstop and second baseman McGonigle is the top-ranked prospect in the Tigers system, according to MLB Pipeline. The Tigers drafted him in the first round (No. 37 overall) in the 2023 MLB Draft out of high school in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.

The 20-year-old McGonigle is at High-A West Michigan, where he's slashing .379/.468/.674 in 156 plate appearances over 33 games for the Whitecaps in 2025. He's in his third professional season after debuting in 2023.

CF Max Clark (No. 12)

Clark is the No. 2 ranked prospect in the Tigers organization according to MLB Pipeline. He was drafted No. 3 overall in the 2023 MLB Draft out of high school in Franklin, Indiana, and is in his third professional season.

Clark is slashing .270/.419/.411 in 315 plate appearances over 65 games for West Michigan this season, adding seven home runs and 12 stolen bases to his tally. He stole 29 total bases last season for West Michigan and Low-A Lakeland.

The 20-year-old Clark served as the leadoff hitter and starting center fielder for the AL in the 2024 game, going 1-for-4 with a single and a strikeout.

1B/C/DH Josue Briceño (No. 58)

As the organization's No. 4 prospect, the Venezuelan Briceño has been the Whitecaps' top power hitter so far in 2025, hitting a career-high 15 home runs and 54 RBI in 230 plate appearances over 52 games.

The 20-year-old Briceño has also shown defensive versatility, splitting his time in West Michigan between first base (20 starts), catcher (18 starts) and designated hitter (14 starts). He hit for a monstrous 10 home runs and .867 slugging percentage in 25 games at the Arizona Fall League in 2024.
