Vanessa Kirby stepped into shimmer and structure for the Paris leg of her press tour on Monday, wearing a lilac halter dress from Givenchy and metallic wraparound stilettos to promote “Fantastic Four: First Steps” at Espace Niemeyer.
The dress, part of Givenchy’s fall 2025 collection, featured a sculptural neckline that draped from the collarbone to the mid-calf hem in one unbroken sweep. Open at the sides and back, the dress balanced volume with exposure and marked a tonal shift from Kirby’s usual dark, architectural tailoring. The shade — a soft pastel — is somewhat new territory for the actress, but one that’s proving a deliberate part of her evolving pregnancy style.

The shoes were harder edged. Kirby wore strappy metallic stilettos with a minimalist build: a single thin strap at the toes, an open heel, and delicate gold ties that wrapped up and around her ankles. The stiletto heel appeared to measure at least 4 inches, offering height without bulk.

It’s not the first time she’s worn a barely there shoe, either. Back in June, she wore similar Manolo Blahnik sandals during the Mexico leg of the tour, but the shine and wrap detail here pushed the look into trend-aware territory. Gladiator-inspired heels have been making a quiet return in recent months, worn by Meagan Good, Tyla and others, leaning into early-2000s minimalism with a twist.
This marks the third stop on Kirby’s press circuit, which began in February with a futuristic PVC-stiletto moment in Alabama and gained momentum in Mexico, where she debuted her pregnancy in a fitted teal Schiaparelli gown and snakeskin Paloma heels. Each look has been styled by Andrew Mukamal, who previously worked with Margot Robbie during her own maternity dressing pivot.
