GRAYSCALE, launched in 2015, is a boutique agency representing a range of international clients in the fields of travel, design, fashion, and lifestyle. We work closely with our clients to understand their businesses holistically and drive awareness through focused communications and storytelling, strategic partnerships, client development, and community building.
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
The Account Executive is responsible for supporting the Founder, Vice President and Director in managing the agency’s design, lifestyle, and travel clients, which includes account management, media list organization, supporting events and activations and maintaining relationships with the media and Grayscale’s community.
Responsibilities:
● Support PR team on daily account management duties and client calendars.
● Organize & update media lists including digital, editorial and tastemaker contacts.
● Assist in creation and management of all client press materials including fact sheets, press releases, and visual assets.
● Responsible for client agendas, recaps and bi-monthly reports.
● Assist and support the Vice President and Director with pitching/outreach, maintaining calendars, and event support.
● Responsible for sharing secured press with clients and keeping track of upcoming credits. This includes print, digital and social placements.
● Manage and facilitate print and digital editorial requests.
● Support the Director on digital strategy and organization of weekly pitching for product placements.
● Assist the Director with client seeding requests and tracking social placements.
● Manage agency digital & magazine subscriptions.
● Manage the agency’s social media account.
Desired Skills:
● Candidate should have 1-2 years of experience working at a PR agency, in the lifestyle, travel, fashion and design industry
● A high degree of proficiency, detail and organization
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● A comprehensive understanding of the media landscape
● Ability to take initiative and time-manage to accommodate multiple accounts
● Knowledge of social media and digital strategy
● Experience working with design and lifestyle brands
● A team player who performs tasks in a self-sufficient manner and is eager to learn
● Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Bachelor’s degree
