Sophie Turner’s go-to recipe? Cheesy pasta. As for why it’s her go-to recipe? “My kids’ favorite meal is cheesy pasta,” she says, laughing.
In the newest installation of Vogue’s video series Now Serving, the actor gives viewers a step-by-step guide on how to make her fresh pasta with butter and parmesan—as well as her favorite cocktail, a Hugo spritz. (For the uninitiated: that’s St-Germain, prosecco, sparkling water, and ice.) And she does it all in high style: “I’m going to make it, as I always do, in my JW Anderson sparkly pink dress,” she says, with her trademark dry humor.
Throughout, the actor gives glimpses into her family life—her favorite thing to do with daughter Willa and Delphine, she says, is play pretend. “They have the wildest imagination,” she says. Although, when they go to bed, the actor gets to shift gears and indulge in what she jokingly calls “Sophie time.” What does that entail, exactly? “Really, it’s all about staying in, having a gossip. Sleepovers are key. I still do sleepovers, even now.”
She also talks about her upcoming movie, The Dreadful. Set in the 15th century, the British Gothic horror follows her character Anne, a woman who lives on the outskirts of society with her mother. But then a mysterious man—played by her good friend and former Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington—re-enters their life. “We play lovers,” Sophie says. “Sorry guys, it’s weird for all of us.”
