Earlier this past week, the college football world was thrown into conversation when former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Greg McElroy shared a rumor ahead of 2025 SEC football media days surrounding former head coach Nick Saban, as well as a potential return to coaching.
Now yes, it is obviously an unknown as to if the greatest of all-time would ever return to the sidelines, but the news certainly got people across the sport talking, something that has continued over the last couple of days.
As a result, some of the conference’s coaches were asked for their thoughts as to if Saban would ever return while speaking at SEC media days, one of which was Georgia’s Kirby Smart.
