What: An accessories and handbag brand led by quality French craftsmanship and a modern artistic sensibility.

Owner: Franck Dahan
Origin Story: In 1754, Joseph Duclos established France’s first Royal Leather Manufacturer in Lectoure, backed by a royal patent from King Louis XV. Located by the Diane spring, the tannery united over 100 master craftsmen and became renowned across Europe for its exceptional leathers, artisanal skill and early eco-conscious methods. The factory thrived through the 18th and early 19th centuries, producing military goods before closing by 1850.
Nearly three centuries later, in 2021, entrepreneur Franck Dahan revived the brand, opening a boutique at 54 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. He appointed Ramesh Nair — former designer at Hermès and Moynat — as creative director. Nair draws from the Maison’s rich heritage to craft modern collections rooted in craftsmanship, innovation and excellence.
