Nation's No. 1 Recruit Shares Strong Opinion of SEC Powerhouse Following First Visit

When it comes to being successful in college football, the ability to consistently bring in talented players is what usually separates the best from the worst.

Of course, one of the best ways to do that is recruiting players at the high school level, and several programs have already gotten to work in making their impressions on members of the 2027 class.

One of the most sought-after players of that group is offensive tackle Kennedy Brown, who, when talking to Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong, shared his opinion of the Texas A&M Aggies after his first unofficial visit in College Station on June 10.

“What really excites me about the Aggies is what they’re building once again, how they’re gonna have a great upcoming season,” Brown said. “I love the way they show love and how they’re genuine and how Coach (Adam) Cushing and (Wisley) Desire have been growing this relationship. Also have one of the best lines and potential high-round picks on the line as well, which shows the development!”

Of course, that’s something Texas A&M certainly loves to hear, as Brown would be a massive pickup with Rivals Industry Rankings placing him as a five-star recruit and the No. 1 player in the nation.

If development is a big concern, then the Aggies are a solid choice, considering they’ve produced a total of 20 NFL draft picks since 2020, with three of those being offensive linemen.

However, Texas A&M is far from the only big-time program looking to grab Brown, as he also has offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, the USC Trojans, the Oregon Ducks, the Texas Longhorns and the Michigan Wolverines.

If the Aggies were able to come out on top in this high-powered battle, it would be their second time snagging the nation’s No. 1 recruit in just seven years after landing defensive lineman Walter Nolen, who was the top-ranked guy in the 2022 class.
