Queen Letizia of Spain had a twinning moment with her two daughters wearing one of summer’s biggest shoe trends — toe sandals.
The royal was joined by Princess Sofia of Spain and Crown Princess Leonor of Spain to attend “En un Lugar de la Mente” screening during the Atlantida Film Festival at Rivoli Cinema on Thursday in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. For the occasion, they all wore casual flat sandals with a ring of leather over their big toes, which has been a popular trend for sandals this summer.

The strappy sandals featured two straps across the upper, with one that loops around the foot and wraps around the ankle. Queen Letizia appeared to be wearing the Tkees Mia Napa sandal, which retails for $85.
Princess Sofia matched her mom with a pair of sandals in black, but hers featured a buckle on the side of the foot, while Queen Letizia’s were a slip-on design. Princess Leonor deviated from the black style, opting for a pair of cognac brown sandals with a gold buckle on the sides.
The versatile style paired well with their dressed-down, casual summer attire. Queen Letizia paired her sandals with a sleeveless Carolina Herrera dress with a below-the-knee hemline and an oversized polka dot print. Sofia wore a sleeveless midi dress in black, while her sister wore a cream crochet top with wide-leg mint green pants.

Other brands like Gap, Ancient Greek Sandals, Larroudé, Reformation, and more offer similar styles. The toe-ring sandal silhouette has been in the warm-weather footwear lineup.
Letizia, on the other hand, has spent her summer in pointed-toe slingback kitten heels, mary jane flats, and pumps from one of her go-to brands, Sézane, in particular the company’s Paula Babies style.
