Ole Miss Football Recruiting: 2026 class breakdown

Ole Miss has hovered around the No. 20 spot in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings for the entire Lane Kiffin era. That’s tracking once again in the 2026 cycle.

As of Aug. 5, the Rebels currently have the No. 19 class in the nation. That’s thanks to 16 commits, seven of which are blue-chippers. Ole Miss hasn’t had as much momentum on the trail as other SEC programs this summer, but the Rebels have still closed on some top targets and are making strides heading into the fall.

Headlining the pledge list is Leesburg (Fla.) Tavares four-star linebacker Izayia Williams. A former Louisville, Syracuse, Florida State and Florida commit, Williams flipped to the Rebels on May 2 and remains locked in with the Rebels heading into the season.

Just three Magnolia State prospects are in the class to date, including De Kalb (Miss.) Kemper County four-star running back Damarius Yates. He committed two days after Williams and is now the nation’s No. 113 recruit and No. 10 RB. Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville four-star wide receiver Corey Barber also committed to Ole Miss in May.

There have been some big additions to the class in the last couple months, too. Duncanville (Texas) four-star EDGE Landon Barnes committed on June 30. One day later, Decatur (Ill.) Mt. Zion four-star tight end JC Anderson did the same. Later on in July, the Rebels landed Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Oakland four-star safety Craig Tutt.
